Dr. Paiano performs a physical examination, together with an extensive patient intake and health history, and laboratory testing. A correct diagnosis is the key to treatment and management of any condition, but especially important in acne and acne-like skin concerns.
Dr. Paiano works closely with her patients to put together a treatment plan that is best suited to each individual. It often involves a combination of nutrition counselling (education and empowerment around nutrition and specific foods that lead to inflammatory pathways and break outs), topical and/ or oral botanicals, orthomolecular medicine, sleep hygiene and education, stress management and lifestyle counselling.
